We were raised in a society that, at one point, was ignorant and primitive. Racial groups where formed, whites on their own, indians on their own, blacks on their own and sorth forth. This has had a strong impact on how many view life when it comes to racial interactions.
As life and people started evolving, getting educated, and growing, they started to realise that one can be attracted to and share affection with another person from a different racial group. However, up to this day families are in constant fights, especially parents (those who were born before the 20th century) and are against interracial relationships. This could be because of cultural beliefs and expectancies or merely just the norm of people being against other races.
The fact that God placed us all with our differences here on earth is an indication that we are one and have the freedom to interact without offence.
It is the freedom of choice that we have as individuals. Love, like, spend time, share affection, and embrace whosoever you want, even if the person is of a different racial group from you. We are all equal.
